Our Story

Sorrento was founded in Istanbul in 1994. In fact, our story began even earlier; years of accumulated workshop experience in men’s shirtmaking came together under the Sorrento name, giving our craft a professional direction. Since the day we were established, we have focused on one thing: making good shirts.

Today, our monthly capacity is 15,000 pieces. For us, this is less a large number than it is the right scale—an ideal space that allows us to closely oversee every step of each shirt, from pattern development to stitching, from pressing to final inspection. Our production is boutique, our approach meticulous, and the trust of the brands we have worked with for years defines our standard.

The first wholesale store we opened in Osmanbey in 2001 allowed Sorrento to gain experience not only as a manufacturer but also as a seller on the ground. Since then, we have continued by combining the knowledge acquired both in production and on the retail front.

Today, Sorrento continues its journey in the city where it was founded, with the same discipline. We are not focused on growing, but on doing our work better. We aim to reflect our care in production, the experience built over the years, and our working culture in every shirt we make.
